So You can say "may" about request something for permission - May I go to bathroom? - May I have piece of cake? Hm,,, ask / request .... I am serching for that. "request" is more formal and You can't answer "YES or No" 2023. 1. 15. January 13th, 2023 Today I studed "must" 1. You can say something "possibilities" - He must be a nice guy. - He can't leave me alone. 2. You can say something "Denial" but "don't have to" is little bit difference. - You must not drive when you drive. - He must feel exhausted. - I don't have to buy this one.
